Richard is the campus minister here at Auburn. He is originally from Meridian, MS and graduated from Vanderbilt University. After graduation he went to work with RUF at the University of Texas at Austin. While an intern, he met Amy Stork who was interning at Auburn. They got married in June of 1997 and a year later went to St. Louis to begin at Covenant Theological Seminary. Amy taught first grade until the birth of Thompson in December of 2000. Richard then graduated in May 2001, and arrived in Auburn later that month to begin work with RUF. Since moving to Auburn, Richard, Amy and Thompson have welcomed Betsy (October 30, 2002) and Paul (July 19, 2005).

Tom Hart, Intern

Tom got married this summer to the lovely Chane Jacobs.  Chane brings the best out of Tom as you can tell from this picture.  He’s singing “Mustang Sally” at his reception (ask him for the story).  This is Tom’s second year on our staff.  He and Chane met at the University of Georgia.  Chane is teaching English at Drake Middle School, but you’re sure to see her around RUF stuff as well.  They’re also excited about Agnes, their new lab puppy.

Meggie Taylor, Intern

After growing up in Dallas and graduating from Texas Christian University (frog ‘em), Meggie is finally leaving the DFW bubble and is ready to embrace the southern-ness of Alabama. Being raised around two brothers who are both athletes and musicians, Meggie has often been referred to as both a sports junkie and a music snob. She also associates herself with American Idol, cowboy boots, Australian accents, Johnny Depp, and winning. Upon departing the great state of Texas, Meggie is in need of some SEC football and good sweet tea in her life.
