Many sponsors (e.g., federal, state, and local government entities and large non profit or charitable organizations) have standard contractual agreements which they use to fund sponsored activities. For those sponsors that do not have standard agreements, the Office of Sponsored Programs has contract templates that can be used. You may download the agreement and forward it to your sponsor for review and approval. For assistance with choosing the agreement best suited for your project, or if your sponsor wishes to discuss some of the term and conditions of the agreement, contact your Contract Administrator to negotiate any changes. If the agreement is acceptable to your sponsor without changes, ask your Contract Administrator for assistance. Your Contract Administrator will prepare duplicate originals of the agreement and obtain the appropriate signatures. Investigators are not authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of Auburn University. |
