Notes:

Inserting foreign DNA/RNA into a vector or organism for the purpose of cloning or expressing it.


Working with infectious agents or toxins that may affect humans and/or animals, including human fluids, human cell lines, and/or animal fluids or animal cell lines that 1) are from a non-commercial source, 2) involve rDNA, or 3) have been altered with a viral vector.


Working with or storing infectious agents or toxins that affect plants.


Inserting foreign DNA/RNA into a vector or organism for the purpose of cloning or expressing it AND working with/or storing infectious agents or toxins that may effect humans/animals.



Amendments to Approved, Active BUAs

 

Renewals of BUAs (may be requested for one additional three year period following the initial three year approval period) or Final Report Forms can be obtained by contacting the IBC Administrator (844-5966).
