Alternatives to Animal Use

In accordance with the Animal Welfare Act, Auburn University must provide 1) assurance that alternatives to painful/stressful procedures have been considered, and 2) guidance to investigators concerning research and testing methods that limit the number of animals used and/or minimize pain and stress.
