The purpose of this program is to encourage the development of a mentoring relationship between a junior faculty member and a senior faculty member. The focus of this mentoring relationship is to facilitate the development of the junior faculty members' research program. All junior faculty members are eligible to participate in this program. Mentors may be selected from senior faculty at Auburn University or may be senior individuals from outside the university. Former major professors or postdoctoral advisors are not eligible to serve as mentors. The mentor selected should have strong research credentials in an area that will assist the junior faculty member in developing his/her research program.
