Finalist for Premier Award for Excellence in Engineering Education Courseware, "In Hot Water: Vogtle Cooling Tower Case Study." from NEEDS and John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2001 (Cochran, Raju & Sankar).

Recognized by Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) as Sam Walton Fellows for enhancing the education of K-12 students, 2001.
