Legacy ProgramPrior to the spring semester of 2004, Auburn University offered a
benefit known as the Legacy Program, which provided a reduction in
the non-resident tuition for qualified students who resided outside
of the state of Alabama. The last group of students eligible for this
benefit entered in the fall of 2003. While this specific program is
no longer available, prospective students are encouraged to pursue
financial assistance through the traditional financial aid and scholarship
programs. In fact, while the Legacy Program is no longer offered, children
of out-of-state alumni may qualify for the Alumni Endowed Scholarships,
which are available to the dependents of life members, or other financial
aid or scholarships to attend AU. For additional information on the
availability of scholarships and financial aid, please consult the
Auburn Universiity Student Financial Services web site at http://www.auburn.edu/finaid |
