Who are the Auburn University Student Recruiters?

Spring semester of each academic year, 60 of Auburn’s finest student representatives are selected through a 2 round interview process as members of the Student Recruiter organization. These students, along with four returning Recruiters who serve as the groups’ officers, are a vital part of the recruitment process. The primary function of Student Recruiters is to aid the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment in attracting prospective students by giving tours to our visiting families to Auburn throughout the year as well as assistance in managing the office on the mornings of home football games to provide more tour opportunities. Student Recruiters also assist the office professional staff by traveling to college fairs throughout Alabama and the Southeast in an effort to recruit the most academically talented students to Auburn University. Other responsibilities include corresponding with prospective students through e-mail, post cards and letters. Recruiters also help facilitate other programs on campus such as War Eagle Days, E-Day, TALONS Day and Welcome Week. However, being a Student Recruiter is not all work.
