SAfE Harbor Women's Clinic (Sexual Assault Elimination)
This center for women exists to eliminate men's violence against women including dating/domestic violence, rape and other sexual assaults. If you are a victim of sexual violence or know someone who is consider contacting SAfE Harbor for confidential assistance. Counseling (Ind. & Group) is available, as well as educational services and speakers for group events. Office is located in University Medical Clinic, Wing 231. Call 844-5123
Crisis Center
Provides crisis hotline available 24 hours. Just call 821-8600 to speak confidentially with a counselor. Counselors are available to address many emotional problems from mild depression to suicidal thoughts.
AU Medical Clinic
The campus medical clinic provides a wide variety of medical services including allergy testing and immunizations. Women's Health services, laboratory services, x-ray services, pharmacy, HIV testing and counseling student insurance, outpatient clinic, sports medicine, eye clinic, physicals and STD Evaluations. Call 844-4416 for an appointment.
AU Department of Public Safety
Provides law enforcement and security services on campus. Use any of the emergency phone stations located around campus to report an emergency or call 844-4158. Call to report any crimes or incidents committed 24 hours a day.
The English Center
Provides tutorial aid in reading and writing. This service is provided by the English Department. Call 844-5749 to get current hours and location.
Program for Students with Disabilities
If you think you may have a disability that has not been identified before, this office offers screenings to help determine this, then assists in determining appropriate accommodations. An assistive technology lab and priority registration are available for those with disabilities, a well as communication with faculty and referral to other applicable campus resources. Call 844-2096 or stop by Haley 1244 to schedule an appointment.

- Study Partners is a program that provides free peer tutoring from 3-9 pm, Sunday - Thursday in RBD Library Room 176. Walk-ins and appointments are available.
- Study Smart is a program for students on academic warning and probation. Classes and small groups are offered to improve study techniques, time management, test taking skills and goal setting.

- Assistance with curriculum selection, career exploration, job-search strategies, career preference assessments, resume writing, etc...
- Job Search Services
- Assistance contacting potential employers is provided
- Job Fair is held on campus each year.
- Online database of student resumes is provided for potential employers.
- Mock interviews are provided for students preparing for interviews.
- Freshman Year Experience - conducts freshmen orientation and Camp War Eagle.
- Successfully Orienting Students - orientation for transfer students.
- Returning Adult Students (RAS)
- Membership is available to any adult student starting school for the 1st time, or returning after time off.
- Any student with children or dependents is welcome to join
- Membership benefits include priority registration, emergency locator services, tutor matching, discounted services in the community, scholarships, and fellowship with students in similar situations.
- Student Counseling Services
Individual & Group Counseling is provided for University students. Counseling services address many problems such as stress management, dealing with problems, sexuality and gender issues, date rape, depression and anxiety. Stop by Foy 118 or call 844-5123 for an appointment.
Academic Services for Athletes
All athletes have access to tutors through the athletic department. Contact Virgil Starks, Associate Athletic Director for Student Services, for more information about this service. Call 844-4750.
Psychological Services Center
Provides psychological services to students and non-students. Available are assessments for ADHD, psychological function, academic function, learning disabilities, PTSD and substance abuse. Individual and/or group therapy is available for a range of psychological issues. School consultation services are also available for elementary school children and behavioral treatment for autism and developmental disabilities is offered as well. Call 844-4889 to speak with Joyce. She will assist you in getting an appointment as soon as possible.
Office of Diversity & Multi-cultural Affairs
This office provides a minority peer mentoring program for incoming freshmen. They are paired with Junior and Senior students to assist them in achieving higher GPAs.
The program also serves to encourage students to participate in campus activities and organizations and empower students through leadership training, leadership opportunities, and outreach activities. Also these students help to identify needs of minority students on the AU campus as a whole. To get involved call 844-4184.
Library Services
AUBIExpress, a document delivery service, is available to students with disabilities. If you have any questions about library services or finding particular materials in the library Info Chat with a librarian is available on-line during library hours. Call 844-1737 or 844-1738 for any information.

Student Employment
Employment services are provided for enrolled AU students. Assistance is given by job listing services and referral services within the community. Call 844-3879 or go online to see job listing.
Financial Aid
Exists to assist students obtain student loans, grants, and scholarships. Contact their office even if you think you do not qualify. You may be surprised. Call 844-4367 for more information.
