Prospective Graduate Students

Auburn University's Psychology Department offers three doctoral programs

An MS degree is conferred upon students in the doctoral programs when they have fulfilled intermediate requirements for the PhD. The department does not offer a terminal master's degree in the doctoral fields or in general psychology.

Graduate degrees in counseling, counseling psychology, educational psychology and school psychology are offered through departments in the College of Education rather than the Department of Psychology. For information about graduate studies in these fields, contact the department of Counseling and Counseling Psychology (334-844-5160).
