Program Strengths
Faculty from each of the three graduate programs at Auburn (Experimental, Clinical, and I/O) has mutual interests that contribute to graduate education in experimental psychology. Students and faculty often cross program boundaries to collaborate on projects of mutual interest. We encourage our students to achieve program goals and acquire additional expertise in related disciplines. Students in the experimental program have the flexibility to expand their skills in research and teaching, and in the application of this knowledge while focusing on the empirical and theoretical bases of experimental psychology.
