Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Psychology Department is the education of its undergraduate majors, the development of its graduate programs, and full participation in the teaching of the University's core curriculum. These three foci are integrated within programs that place a premium on scholarship, scholarly analysis, and the use of science based on psychological knowledge to address individual, social, and societal problems at both the state and national levels.
