Dr. Jennifer Gillis is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. Dr. Gillis is a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified behavior analyst. Dr. Gillis's research falls within the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Broadly, her research examines the psychopathology of ASD, the adaptation of cognitive-behavioral therapies for children with ASD, and family systems issues associated with this population.
Dr. Richard Mattson is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. His research is on the antecedents to and developmental course of marital discord, as well as on the measurement of variables relevant to relationship research. Secondary research interests include addictive behaviors, as well as their detrimental effects on relationship functioning (e.g., psychological abuse). His teaching interests include clinical and research training in graduate education, as well as psychopathology and clinical supervision.
