 This skill building workshop led by The AtKisson Group offered a practical and effective set of tools for mainstreaming sustainability into higher education. The workshop was attended by a diverse group that included faculty, staff, administrators, and students. The Office of Sustainability will be using the ISIS tools and process in its work both on and off campus. Read more about the AtKisson ISIS workshop. Academic Workshops: Sustainability in the Curriculum  The Fall Line Project, named for the position of Auburn at the geographic interface between the hard rock of the uplands and the sandy soils of the coastal plains, is based on the nationally recognized Piedmont Project at Emory University. Green Purchasing  Auburn University Office of Sustainability has gathered this short list of resources for Purchasing and Procurement professionals. Speakers' Bureau  The Speakers' Bureau was established in fall, 2008, creating a network of sustainability speakers on campus. The purpose of the Bureau is to spread the message of sustainability through every discipline and area of campus life. |

Movies and Documentaries  This is a short list of movies and documentaries that address topics related to sustainability. We recommend them for personal viewing or for viewing with a class. Auburn University Sustainability Report  The Office of Sustainability is currently compiling a report on sustainability in the university. The report is looking at sustainability in the curriculum, sustainability research and sustainability practices on campus. |
