Sustainable gift ideas
 This year give more sustainable gifts that are a little different. Auburn offers street routing app.  Auburn City offers new street routing web application for cyclists and motorists. Recycle your cooking oil this holiday
 Auburn city provides cooking oil/ grease recycling program at city drop-off center at 365-A North Donahue Drive. Green & Blue Conference 2010  Registration is now open for the Green and Blue Conference, 2010. The conference is being hosted by Habitat Affiliates in association with Auburn College of Architecture, Design, and Construction, the Office of Sustainability and others. New recycling program beginning in January 2010  AU Recycling is postponing the launch of the new recycling program until January 2010. LEED preparation class UPDATE: The date for this class has been changed to January 28, 2010. University Outreach hosts a class for those who wish to take the LEED Green Associate Exam. The class is being organized in association USGBC Alabama and will be conducted by Piedmont Green Building Solutions. September newsletter The Office of Sustainability September newsletter is now available. Poor women most vulnerable to climate change
 A new study from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) finds evidence that poor women in developing countries will be the most vulnerable to climate change.
