Giving Opportunities
The Sustainability Advocacy Society provides unrestricted funding for the office to carry the message of sustainability farther and to plant it deeper on the campus and in the community. Members pledge $1,000 for three consecutive years and become part of a group that is committed to creating a more sustainable world. Among other things, funds from the society will help to develop and support Auburn's Climate Action Plan, the roadmap that will guide Auburn to carbon neutrality.
Named for the Brundtland Report produced by the UN World Commission on Environment and Development, the Common Future Fund will support students in their pursuit of the knowledge and experience necessary to lead the world toward a more sustainable future. The fund acknowledges the fact that each successive generation will be faced with new challenges and that for the good of our common future we must provide what support we can to the leaders of tomorrow.
