Welcome to the Operation Cat Nap website!

Dr. Griffin's Favorite Quote: If one unspayed female cat produces two litters per year, and two kittens per litter survive to reproduce, and none of these cats are ever spayed or neutered, the total population multiplies in five years, or ten generations, to 59,049.

Problem: Over 100 homeless cats live on the AU campus. They forage for food, have kittens and lead short, bleak lives.

Solution: Operation Cat Nap, a humane trap-neuter-return program, in which faculty, staff, and students work together to care for the cats.

Prevention: Spay or neuter your own cat! Be a RESPONSIBLE cat owner!
