The focus of the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association is to enhance students' knowledge about the different facets of veterinary medicine including small animals, exotic animals, and large animals. Incorporating speakers on every other Wednesday and service projects the PVMA is designed to help let a student know that a career in veterinary medicine is for them. We perform service projects at such venues as the Lee County Humane Society, the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation program, Storybook Farms, and Rescue K911. Also in order to foster a sense of family we have group events in which we gather together to watch movies, go bowling, or eat dinner.
