TAKING CARE OF THE CAMERA
-
Be careful not to bump or
drop the camera.
-
Don't touch the lens.
-
Recharge the battery at least
one hour after the recharger light goes out.
-
Put the camera in a plastic
bag if moving from cold to hot environments and wait an hour for it to
warm to the hot environment to avoid condensation.
-
Don't use the camera in wet
or sandy environments.
-
Do not point the camera toward
the sun or leave it under sunlight or by a window.
-
Keep lens cover on when not
in use.
SETTING UP THE CAMERA
-
Slide POWER down to turn
on camera.
-
Insert floppy disk until
it clicks (shutter first, large square towards back of camera).
-
Set PLAY/STILL/MOVIE to STILL.
-
Make sure FOCUS AUTO/MANUAL
is set to MANUAL.
-
Press the control button
to access the menu.
-
Use the control button like
a joystick to scroll down the menu to IMAGE SIZE.
-
Set image size to 640x480.
-
Press the control button.
-
Scroll down to QUALITY and
set it to FINE.
-
Press the control button.
-
Scroll down to REC MODE and
set it to NORMAL.
-
Press the control button.
-
Scroll down to the curved
arrow.
-
Press the control button.
RECORDING STILL IMAGES
FOR THE WEB
-
Aim at subject, don't put
fingers over flash or microphone (on top).
-
Press shutter button halfway
down until green light stops flashing.
-
Press shutter the rest of
the way down.
PLAYING PHOTOS
-
Set PLAY/STILL/MOVIE to PLAY.
-
Use the control button like
a joystick to select the forward/back buttons on the screen. Then press
the control button to see the image.
REMOVING THE FLOPPY DISK
-
Slide EJECT lock down and
at the same time slide DISK EJECT in the direction of the arrow.
