Welcome to Auburn University Outreach. Auburn University’s outreach mission is dedicated to improving quality of life in our communities and helping people fulfill their educational goals. Through outreach, Auburn applies its faculty expertise and research resources to training professionals, promoting business, advising governments, and assisting families. Our goal and commitment, as always, is to provide effective, quality programs and services to our fellow Alabamians. We also extend this commitment to those beyond our borders, nationally and internationally.

Through academic departments and specialized outreach units, and through participation in the Alabama Technology Network, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and other agencies, Auburn University provides a range of continuing education programs, distance education courses, technical assistance services, and recreational activities throughout the year. As you review this website, I call your attention to the initiatives and publications sections. These contain a wealth of information on our programs and services. The “Auburn Across Alabama” link demonstrates how outreach touches almost every community in our state. There is also a helpful directory of outreach contacts university-wide.
