Tax Workshops - Outreach Program Office at Auburn University

Welcome to the 2010 Introductory Income Tax Workshops with Michael Ferguson

In January, the AU Outreach Program Office will sponsor Introductory Income Tax Workshops at 3 different locations throughout the state. The workshops will be conducted by Michael Ferguson, CPA, CFP, of Guntersville, Alabama. The Auburn University 2010 Introductory Income Tax Workshop will focus on Federal Tax Form preparation.

This tax workshop is geared to individuals beginning their career in tax preparation or those wanting a refresher course. This workshop is also beneficial for seasonal temporary tax staff. Each participant will receive a tax workshop booklet that will include instructional material, tax forms, and tax examples. No prerequisites and no advance preparation required.

For over thirty years, Auburn University has provided quality continuing education at an affordable price to tax professionals, enrolled agents, certified public accountants, public accountants, and attorneys. Each workshop provides a total of 400 minutes of instruction. The program has been approved for 8 CPE and CEU from Auburn University.

Choose from three Introductory Income Tax Workshop sites across Alabama:
■ January 11: Huntsville/ UAH University Center
■ January 12: Bessemer/ Bessemer Civic Center
■ January 13: Montgomery/ Auburn University in Montgomery - Taylor Center
