Beanna J. Whitlock, EA, CSA:
An accomplished presenter, Ms. Whitlock recently completed service as a National Public Liaison for the IRS. She has been a tax professional and an Enrolled Agent for almost 40 years. During that time, she has received many awards and honors, including a “Speaker of the Year” award from the National Society of Accountants, designation (for an unprecedented 7 consecutive years) by Accounting Today as “One of the Top 100 Most Influential in Accounting”, selection as “Enrolled Agent of the Year” by the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents, and receipt of the “Commissioner’s Award for Excellence of Service” from IRS Commissioner Mark Everson. She has authored articles that have appeared in Time, Newsweek, Wall Street Journal, Parent’s, and the Ladies Home Journal among many other publications, and she has been interviewed as part of a series of tax articles on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. She resides with her husband, Tom, in San Antonio, Texas where she also maintains her practice. |

Michael Ferguson, CPA, CFP:
Mr. Ferguson is a CPA and CFP with over twenty years experience in accounting, tax planning, and financial planning for businesses and individuals. Though his practice in located in Guntersville, Alabama, he works with clients from all parts of the country. He holds a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree from Mississippi State University and served as a commissioned officer in the U S Army. Having also had experience as a partner in a small business, he brings a broad range of experiences to our instructional team.

Nora Gunn, IRS – Nora began her career with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Officer. She later served as an Offer-In-Compromise Specialist for the Collection Division. As an OIC Specialist, Nora was involved in writing training material and training Campus employees during the Centralization of the Offer program. Nora is currently a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Communication, Liaison, and Disclosure Division serving the Alabama Tax Practitioners and the State Industry Leaders in navigating IRS. She serves as the Alabama Disaster Relief Coordinator. She is one of the statewide IRS instructors with the Auburn University Tax Practitioner Institute Seminars. Nora teaches Continuing Education Classes for numerous Alabama Tax Professional Organizations. Prior to working with the Internal Revenue Service, Nora owned her own business as an Independent Commissioned Peanut Buyer. She also worked for the Department of Agriculture as a member of the Managers Cadre for the Agriculture Soil Conservation Service. Nora holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Troy State University. |

Ann Fondren Winborne, CPA, is the Manager of the Administrative Support Unit of the Individual and Corporate Tax Division for the State of Alabama Department of Revenue. She is involved in drafting and analyzing legislation, and works with writing regulations, conducting training, and designing tax forms. Her 24 years of experience with Alabama income taxes also includes service as an income tax auditor, as the Division's Training Officer, and as a manager of field auditors in a taxpayer service center. Ms. Winborne has over 22 years experience as an instructor in tax law and in auditing methods and procedures. She has a B.S. in accounting, a Master of Business Administration degree, and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Manager. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. |

Tamera Warren has been with the State of Alabama Department of Revenue for 15 years. She is the Training Coordinator for the Individual and Corporate Tax Division, and was previously manager of the Business Privilege Tax Section. Ms. Warren has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from A.U.M. and an MBA from Troy State University, Montgomery. |
