Welcome to the 2009 Auburn University Tax Practitioner Seminars

  Pensacola Seminar Update

The 2009 Auburn University Tax Practitioner Seminars will be sponsored by the AU Outreach Program Office in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, Alabama Department of Revenue, and Florida Department of Revenue. 

For over thirty years, this program has provided quality continuing education at an affordable price to tax professionals, enrolled agents, certified public accountants, public accountants, and attorneys. Each 2-day seminar provides a total of 800 minutes of instruction. The program has been approved for 16 CPE, 13.5 CLE, and 1.33 CEU credit including 1 hour of Ethics. It is intended that the program will contain one 60 minute block of qualifying Ethics instruction this year.

The National Income Tax Workbook is included with your seminar registration. This bound, 700 page tax workbook is complete with index and searchable CD. This tax workbook is written to provide tax professionals with the latest information needed to prepare individual and small business income tax returns. It is used at tax seminars in over 26 states. As an added bonus you will receive a compact disc with text from the 2008, 2007, and 2006 workbooks. Excerpts can be copied and printed. This book is only available to registrants of the seminar. No individual books will sold without complete registration at a seminar site.

New in 2009!

1) Gadsden (replacing Anniston) and Pensacola will be new sites this year. This will make a total of ten different seminar sites.
2) Our instructional team include, Beanna Whitlock, EA, CSA that will provide a full day of instruction at each site. Michael Ferguson,CPA, CFP will split the other day with IRS and State Department of Revenue instructors. Instructor bios are available for your review. We think you will be impressed with the credentials, background, and experience of our instructors.
