ACCREDITATION

We are in the process of receiving approval for continuing education credits in the 2009 Seminars.

Approval has been requested at the following organizations for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits:

· Alabama State Bar
· Florida State Bar
· Georgia State Bar
· Mississippi State Bar
· South Carolina State Bar
· Tennessee State Bar
· Alabama State Board of Accountancy
· Florida State Board of Accountancy
· Georgia State Board of Accountancy
· Mississippi State Board of Accountancy
· Tennessee State Board of Accountancy

There are a total of 800 minutes of instruction in the two-day seminar. This equates to 16 CPE credits and Auburn University awards 1.33 Continuing Education Units to all who successfully complete the course. This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of Alabama for a maximum of 13.5 hours credit, including 1hour of ethics.

As a member of the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation, the AU Tax Practitioner Seminar has applied to the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
