International Trade and Development

The International Trade and Development component of this initiative assists in the promotion of business development between the state of Alabama and South Africa. The goal of this program is to develop a trade zone between Alabama and South Africa for large and small businesses. Auburn University uses its professional expertise to develop the trade zone while enhancing existing and new business relationships between the Port of Alabama and the Port of Cape Town. Professionals from Auburn University also assist in identifying import and export commodities available for trade, and help to cultivate an environment that will lead to future business opportunities through these entities.
