In 2008, the Auburn University Academy for Lifelong Learners (AUALL), which was recently re-designated to be the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Auburn, was selected for the Distinguished Non-Credit Program Award by the Association for Continuing Higher Education Region South.  The award was presented to Linda Dean, Assistant Coordinator for OLLI, by Dr Brian Van Horn, President of ACHE Region South, at the annual meeting.
