About the Speaker - Beanna Whitlock, EA, CSA

Beanna Whitlock just completed her 45th tax filing season and has been an Enrolled Agent for over 30 years.

During this time she has received many awards and honors, including the Founders Award for the National Association of Enrolled Agents, Speaker of the Year from the National Society of Accountants and Enrolled Agent of the Year for the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents. Accounting Today named her "One of the Top 100 Most Influential in Accounting" for an unprecedented 7 years.

In 2003, Beanna was appointed Director of National Public Liaison for the Internal Revenue Service by Commissioner Mark Everson. She was honored as a recipient of the prestigious "Commissioner's Award for Excellent of Service" when she left the post in 2004.

She is the author of many articles in national publications and is proudly known for her fierce defense of the tax professional community for their contributions to the tax system. She has been the primary instructor for the Auburn University Tax Professional Seminars in Alabama, Arkansas, and Nevada for the past eight years.
