Korean Cultural Experience Camp
Coming in Summer 2015
Experience aspects of the Korean culture, "Gangnam Style" right here in Auburn! Learn the fundamentals of the Korean language, experience traditions in art and history, and engage in cultural games and activities. Facilitated by the Office of International Programs, this camp is open to rising 6th - 12th graders (Note: there will two cohorts: 6th – 8th grade and 9th-12th grade).
Here's some of what we've got in store for you:
- Daily language instruction
- Basics in the martial arts
- A taste of Korean cuisine
- Music exposure
- Dabble in Korean art
Participants will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn'sresident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities. Camp participants will have 24/7 counselor supervision.
We invite you to spend some time with us, enjoy campus living, make life-long friends, and begin the school year with new skills to reach out to fellow students here in the U.S. from another culture!
Cost is TBA per person and covers all instruction, housing, meals, and recreational activities.
A commuter rate is available for TBA by registering online and does not include lodging or breakfast.
Required Forms and Insurance
Complete and return the required camp form packet not later than two weeks prior to camp start date. Return instructions are included in the packet.

As proof of health insurance, all participants must attach a copy of the participant's health insurance card (front and back) with the camp form packet. If the participant does not have current health insurance coverage, please contact us as soon as possible for options.
