Auburn University offers a diverse collection of courses to expand lifelong learning to local, state, and national audiences through our test prep and community courses, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), and the Road Scholar program (formerly Exploritas).
Test Prep Courses
Whether you plan to enroll in an undergraduate studies program or attend graduate school, law school, or business school, the Office of Professional and Continuing Education can help you realize your academic goals with test preparation courses for the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and ACT. All classes are now offered in a classroom based format and live online format.
Community Courses
Want to learn to fly fish, knit, or paint with watercolors? Interested in art, health and fitness, or the outdoors? Need help preparing for a college entrance exam? Auburn University’s Community Course program is the perfect way to learn! We offer a diverse collection of approximately 50 - 75 short courses each term, designed for your personal enrichment needs and of course, fun. To learn more and register, follow the link below.
Road Scholar Program
Road Scholar, formerly known as Elderhostel, focuses on participants’ lifelong-learning goals to explore their world and expand their minds. The Office of Professional and Continuing Education has offered Road Scholar programs for over 25 years, not only on the main campus, but also at various other sites in Alabama and West Georgia. Participants enjoy a well planned travel / learning adventure and learn in beautiful settings with like-minded individuals.
