Korean American Grassroots Conference in Alabama
Date: TBA
The purpose of the conference is to promote civic engagement of the Korean American community through civic education and voter mobilization. Through collaborative, concerted, and committed efforts between Korean Americans and elected officials, we can uplift our voice and contribute to the robust U.S.-Korea relations.
The conference is organized by the Korea Corner, in joint efforts with the national Korean American Grassroots Conference in Washington, D.C., the Overseas Koreans Foundation, and the Alabama Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs.
We welcome all Korean Americans residing in the State of Alabama to register and attend. In particular, we strongly recommend young adults, college students and high school students to attend. The seats are limited to 120, so please register ASAP.
