SEO Bootcamp (16 hours)

Research shows that 89% of the adults who are online utilize search engines.  By optimizing your web site, you can tap into an audience that is actively seeking information about your product or service.  Effective Search Engine Optimization is an art and a science.  This course is designed to teach business professionals how to use technology to increase productivity and generate business through first page placement on the major search engines.  In this course, students will learn effective organic search engine optimization – in other words, how to use their time and creativity to attract leads online.  The course also covers local search.  This course includes hands on practice exercises to reinforce learning.

Topics covered include:

  • Developing your SEO strategy
  • Unearthing the keywords that drive qualified leads to your business
  • Identifying the roadblocks to effective SEO
  • Evaluating your website to remove any SEO roadblocks
  • Identifying and analyzing your top competitors
  • Optimizing your web pages, crafting persuasive web copy that appeals to search engines and humans
  • Measuring your website's performance
  • Integrating search engine optimization and social media
  • Exploring local search
  • Creating compelling listings to persuade your target market to click through to your site
  • Building incoming links
