Rising 9th – 12th Grade

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering Department in partnership with Auburn Youth Programs, invites you to join us for Robotics and Game Development Camp. This uniquely exciting residential and commuter camp is directed by Dr. Daniela Marghitu and taught by graduate students. This camp, located in Computer Science and Software Engineering laboratories, aims to foster interest in computer science among rising 9th – 12th students by providing an engaging and active programming development experience, introducing advanced computer science and computational thinking concepts through hands-on application of game design and development and robotics. Our campers will also have the opportunity to interact with well-established computer science professionals.

Camp participants will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn's resident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities. Campers will have 24/7 counselor supervision.

Campers will reside in the Hill Dormitories or the Quad dorms. They are designed in suites consisting of two double-occupancy rooms connected by a bathroom.

MEALS:

Campers will have various meal options for breakfast and lunch in The Student Center. Dinner is held in The Terrell Dining facility, where campers will have unlimited options of a buffet-style meal.
