Multi-Cultural Camp: June 20-24 and/or June 27-July 1, 2016
Multicultural Summer Camp is a camp for children ages 4-10 (Pre-K to Elementary). It is a full-day program, running from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday – Friday. Multi-Cultural camp offers 3 different options. You can register for individual weeks (either June 20 – 24 or June 27 – July 1) or you can choose to attend both weeks.
Our curriculum is developed by experienced educators who have broad international backgrounds. Campers will be immersed in a multicultural environment, which will include participating in a world tour curriculum (5-6 countries), hands-on activities, art projects, sports, and a mini-field trip. Campers will learn about language arts, world geography, and traditional cultures (food culture, festivals, etc.). We provide campers with a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can share, respect, and value their cultural differences.
Campers will gain a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of diversity and cultural relations.
Our goals are:
- To bring the world to kids.
- To provide cultural experiences which will encourage campers to respect and understand diverse cultures.
- To encourage students to be successful global citizens.
