Auburn Youth Programs is an extension of University Outreach that sponsors and executes over 100 summer programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular endeavors. Participants have the opportunity to further their education and skills while making new friends and experiencing life at Auburn University!

Camp Counselors work in teams (led by a Lead Counselor) to ensure smooth and safe camp operations, while creating an extraordinary Auburn Experience for camp participants through providing superior customer service. Counselors and staff help lead, instruct and supervise camp participants as well as other duties required by the Camp Director.

If you are interested in spending your summer investing in the lives over 5,000 elementary, middle, and high school students while promoting Auburn University - we want to meet you! 

We are always seeking out quality counselors with the desire to serve Auburn University. There are three different positions to apply for:

  1. Summer Staff
  2. Camp Counselor
  3. Lead Counselor

Camp is an 7-week commitment (June-July) but the pay is good, your housing and dining are paid for while camps are in session, and its great experience working within the University!

Applications will be available NOW and due at midnight on January 31, 2017. Should your application be selected, interviews will be held February 1 - 3, 2017.
