Musical Theatre History of Performance Class Not your normal boring history class, this class will include classic video and audio performances of the musical theatre and introduce the campers to the history of the musical theatre from it’s roots in Viennese Operetta and vaudeville to the pop and rock musicals of today.

Singing Class Healthy singing habits, as well as investigating the various styles of musical singing from vaudeville through pop, will be the focus in this class.

Rehearsal Each evening the camp will focus their talent on a musical theatre revue that will be created specifically to showcase the talent of the campers – the acting, dance and singing teachers will act as director, choreographer and musical director to shape and guide this 60 minute show that will be the culmination of the week. The revue will include music, dances and scenes from the entire repertoire of the musical theatre, all of which the campers will have learned about in musical theatre history class.
