AU Theatre Presents "Lift Every Voice - A Celebration of African American Praise Poetry"

The "Lift Every Voice" event was presented at Loachapoka Elementary School at 4:00 on Thursday, January 27. This is the culmination of a community and civic engagement initiative which partnered AU Theatre Performance majors with selected Loachapoka Extended Day students in the study rehearsal and performance of African American Praise- Poetry. Local artists Doc Waller, Nikita Miller and the work of choreographer Nicholas Johnson were featured.
