Encyclopedia of Alabama
Your free, online resource on Alabama history, culture, geography, and natural environment. This site offers articles on Alabama’s famous people, historic events, sports, art, literature, industry, government, plant and animal life, agriculture, recreation, and more. 2013 AU Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach
Nominations have been collected for the 2013 Auburn University Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach. The award, and a $5,000 honorarium, will be presented to one exceptional Auburn faculty member. All full-time Auburn University faculty are eligible. The winner will be announced at the 2013 Faculty Awards in the fall.

Outreach Scholarship Symposium
The 2013 Outreach Scholarship Symposium was held on February 12-13, 2013. The symposium affords Auburn University faculty, staff, graduate students, and community partners the opportunity to network with each other as well as some of America's finest engaged scholars.

Outreach Scholarship Grants
The purpose of the grants is to encourage faculty initiative in addressing critical needs in the state of Alabama and beyond. This grant program builds upon the experience of previous Outreach Scholarship grants and adds an emphasis on promoting outreach and engaged scholarship as described in Chapter 3 of the Faculty Handbook.

All In, All Pink
The Office of the VP for University Outreach, in collaboration with The Office of Public Service and the Kappa Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, hosted the 2nd Annual All In, All Pink event on Friday, October 19, 2012. Check out the webpage to view photos of the festivities.
