2012 AU Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach
Nominations have been received and the winner of the award and the $5,000 honorarium is Cheryl Morgan, Professor of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction.

All In, All Pink
The Office of the VP for University Outreach, in collaboration with The Office of Public Service and the Kappa Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, hosted the 2nd Annual All In, All Pink event on Friday, October 19, 2012. Check out the webpage to view photos of the festivities.

Outreach Scholarship Grants
The purpose of the grants is to encourage faculty initiative in addressing critical needs in the state of Alabama and beyond. This grant program builds upon the experience of previous Outreach Scholarship grants and adds an emphasis on promoting outreach and engaged scholarship as described in Chapter 3 of the Faculty Handbook. Please note that the deadline for submission is Friday, November 9th, 2012. You are invited to submit a proposal.
