Documenting Engaged Scholarship for Publication
Dissemination of scholarship derived from faculty members’ engagement activities is an important consideration in tenure and promotion decisions. It also contributes to the body of knowledge in the academy as well as to the reputation of the academic department and university. Dr. Kalivoda spoke on the process of publication and elements to strengthen the presentation of scholarship for publication. She also covered the editorial review process, requirements for various journals, and provided helpful resources and prospective publications to consider for one’s scholarly submissions.
