With over 20 years of experience in economic development education and over 1,000 alumni across Alabama, ECDI is the state’s leading provider of economic and community development education.

Building upon the success of it’s annual two-week Intensive Economic Development Training Course, ECDI has introduced the Alabama Prosperity Forum, a new series of short courses focusing on areas in which Alabama economic and community development professionals have expressed a desire for more training. This course is the first of four in 2009.

The course will be held at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. Hotel room reservations are the responsibility of the individual participant and are not included in the course fee.

ECDI has reserved rooms at AUHCC for Wednesday, March 4th and Thursday March 5th. A group room rate of $96 per night is available for course participants until the room block is full.

Participants need to indicate they are attending the ECDI Essentials of Economic Development course when making their reservations in order to receive the special rate. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the AUHCC at 334-821-8200. Directions to the Conference Center are available at http://www.auhcc.com.
