FEES FOR CORRESPONDENCE TESTS
$25 testing fee (We accept check, money order, Visa, MasterCard or exact cash).
Tests that have unusually long time limits may be charged at a higher rate. Postage out of the ordinary is the responsibility of the student. If there is an unusual postage charge such as UPS, FedEx or others, the cost is added to the testing fee. Ask the testing coordinator if you have questions.
PROCEDURES FOR CORRESPONDENCE TESTS
- Contact Testing Services to schedule an appointment
- Make arrangements with your testing agency to have the exam sent to Auburn University Testing Service
- When the agency contacts you with the information that your test has been sent, call AU Testing Services at (334) 844-3106 to verify that your test has arrived and confirm your appointment. Due to the large number of tests we administer, we do not keep waiting lists or make calls to advise you that your test has arrived.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proper identification. It is required for all exams administered through AU testing services. Acceptable IDs are: Valid Drivers License, Pictured Student ID, Military ID or passport. The name on the ID must reflect the same name on the test.
- $25 testing fee (request for expedited mailings requires an additional fee) Unless you pay for expedited mailing, your completed test will be mailed back to your agency via regular mail.
- Scantron, Pens and/or pencils, depending upon what type of test you are taking. This information should be provided to you prior to the exam date by the agency supplying your exam.
DO NOT BRING
- Bookbags, papers, books, study guides, and other items cannot be taken into the testing room (unless the directions on your test allow you to use them). You are encouraged not to bring such items to our office. If you bring them, we will ask you to store them in a side room. We cannot take responsibility for forgotten items.
- Cell phones, pagers, beeping watches, or other electronic devices. They are not permitted in the testing rooms, even if they are turned off.
- Please do not bring Children to your testing. They are not permitted in the testing room and Testing Services staff cannot provide child care while you take your test.
