Building Construction Camp

How does the concept for a building become a reality? Students in this camp will learn construction basics and how to integrate building design with site, climate, function, and “green” considerations. Each day will include instruction by faculty in the College of Architecture, Design, and Construction as well as hands-on activities.

This camp is an excellent starting point for teens (rising 8th -12th graders) considering a career in architecture or building science. Participants will live in air conditioned residence halls supervised by Auburn University staff, and will dine in campus cafeterias. In addition, students will participate in social and recreational activities.
