William Webb

 

William Webb is President of Still Serving Veterans (SSV), a service organization proactively committed to helping Veterans and their families reintegrate into meaningful post-military careers and communities with all the benefits they have earned.  He co-founded this Alabama-based service organization in 2006, and to date it has served over 12,000 wounded warriors and Veterans, and has secured over $141 million in cumulative additional salaries, benefits, and services for its Veteran clients.

Before focusing full-time on SSV, Will Webb served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Time Domain Corporation, a worldwide leader in ultra wideband (UWB) technology.

Will was raised in a military family, traveling extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.  He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and Harvard Business School. As a career Army officer for 28 years, he served in ground and air cavalry units with eight years of command, leading an attack helicopter unit, an armored cavalry troop, an air cavalry squadron, and an air cavalry brigade.

Will’s political-military assignments included service as a White House Fellow in the Executive Office of President Reagan, Associate Professor of Management at the U.S. Military Academy, and Legislative Director for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Colonel Webb served as Deputy Commander of the Aviation Brigade Task Force during Operation Just Cause in 1989-1990, the liberation of Panama. Additionally, from December 1995 to December 1996, Colonel Webb’s aviation brigade was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of a multi-national peace implementation force during Operation Joint Endeavor. His 120 helicopters safely flew over 33,000 flying hours in treacherous conditions to implement peace in the war-ravaged Balkans.

Will is a committed servant leader, and has served actively in church, community, youth sports, and family support activities.  He is a life group leader and elder in his church, and co-directed the campaign that expedited the building of a new church campus.  Will served as chairman/president of the White House Fellows Foundation/Association, and then as the foundation board’s development officer. He was appointed to serve on President Bush’s Commission on White House Fellowships.

In 2013, SSV’s professional counselors conducted 5,487 one-on-one counseling sessions which yielded over $9.6 million in new salaries, benefits, and services. SSV helped secure meaningful new careers for 173 Veterans, with an average annual salary of $44,000. SSV is also recognized nationally as a center of excellence for Veteran reintegration and optimization of Veteran services and was recently awarded a significant grant from the Call of Duty Endowment to substantially boost and expand SSV’s Veteran Job Placement efforts.
