AMROA WInter Conference

 

  The AMROA Conference provides an education program to assist municipal revenue officers in their continued development of skills and abilities to obtain expertise and status in their profession as they serve their communities.

 

Program

This year’s AMROA Winter Conference in Auburn will once again be full of new education topics, beneficial networking, fabulous fun and delicious food. Visit the Hospitality Suite to view the door prizes and plan on attending the golf tournament on Wednesday afternoon. We are planning a super dinner opportunity at the Amsterdam Café and will be taking the Victorian Christmas Tour. Click here to download the conference program (.pdf).

 

Activities

On Wednesday afternoon all participants are welcome to play in the annual golf tournament. The tournament will be held around 11:00 a.m. at the Auburn Links Golf Club. If you are interested in playing this year, please contact Haley Burford at (256) 549-4563 or by email at hburford@cityofgadsden.com. On Thursday afternoon there will be a luncheon for all participants and on Thursday evening all participants are invited to go to dinner at the Amsterdam Café and then go on the Victorian Front Porch Christmas tour. Travel by bus through historic downtown Opelika and view homes transformed into an Old World Christmas wonderland.

The Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center (241 S. College St., Auburn) is holding a block of rooms for participants at a rate of $92.00 per night.
