Mr. Leonard Odom is the President of the Association of Inspectors General. He has served as Chair of the AIG Professional Certification Board and Director of the Certification Institutes. Odom oversees all aspects of the Association of Inspectors General.
Odom is the Interim Inspector General for New Orleans, Louisiana, Office of Inspector General having initially served as First Assistant Inspector General for Criminal Investigations. Odom has over thirty years of extensive experience in management, income tax investigations, internal affairs investigations, knowledge of financial, performance, and compliance audits, fraud investigations, political corruption investigations, contractor fraud investigations, internal safety and security, ethics programs and general investigations.
Odom has served as Inspector General for the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), Assistant Inspector General for Investigations, District of Columbia, Regional Inspector General of Investigations for the U. S. Treasury, and Assistant Chief, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Criminal Investigations Division, Cincinnati, Ohio.
