Call for Papers

We invite abstracts for papers and presentations on all aspects of transparency in governments, to be presented in panel and roundtable discussions. Conference planners encourage interactive exchanges addressing lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina, particularly as they relate to the public transparency and challenges for the new presidential administration. Abstracts should be limited to 300 words in length. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

• Transparency and the Media
• Transparency in State & Local Government
• Public Trust in Governments
• Technology and Transparency
• Transparency in Hiring Practices
• Ethics in Business Practices
• Local Governments Leading the Way in Transparency
