Andrew R. Gillespie
Dr. Gillespie currently serves as the senior international officer for Auburn University, overseeing programs in international student and scholar services, study abroad, English as a Second Language instruction, and international recruitment, development, research and related international needs. He is a Professor of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, a Fulbright Scholar, and has conducted research in alternative food and fiber production systems in developed and developing countries, focusing on the knowledge systems of indigenous peoples. He previously served as a faculty member and Associate Dean for International Programs at Purdue University, and came to Auburn University in 2010.
