Ted Lasser


Decorated Viet Nam War Veteran, service theaters include, S. E. Asia and NATO, service branch, Air Force. Previously, President and Executive Director of Veteran Entrepreneurial Transfer, Inc. with nearly 35 years of experience in executive management, entrepreneurial venturing; Mr. Lasser, a parallel entrepreneur, is a highly effective corporate executive with a proven track record in start-up, turn-around, re-launch, investing and merger activities. He is adept at working with new technologies and bringing successful "first to market" opportunities while increasing shareholder value for ventures.


Among his forming Veteran Entrepreneurial Transfer, Inc. in compliance to his negotiated VA contract to create a Pilot Program for Veteran Entrepreneurship, Mr. Lasser is currently accelerating several ventures where he is participating as CEO, President or Board Chairman. He was also CEO and Chairman of @link Networks, Inc. a National Broadband Network Carrier and Internet Provider with post IPO valuations of $1.2B. This Venture is a perfect example of his entrepreneurial spirit; Mr. Lasser leveraged $10,000 dollar investment into building his team that built the leanest Broadband Network Company in the country.  His innovative leadership experience in spearheading product design, development initiatives and implementing first-to-market strategies for organizations created one of the fastest growing broadband companies during the dot.com area. His small personal investment grew to a value of $28MM dollar in 33 months.


He has personally invested, managed and participated in the growth and launching of nearly 90 companies while possessing a solid history of success in raising venture capital of nearing a half of $1B dollars as well as IPO participation. Mr. Lasser is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Business Management; formally trained by the USAF as a Nuclear Weapons Electronic Specialist; Certified in Central Office Technology design. He is Senior Fellow at National Engineering and Research Technology Expert Society.  


Mr. Lasser extensive involvement in lean start-up and venture accelerator strategies over the three decades has culminated in the formation of our Nation’s first nationally sponsored Federal Veterans Affairs program for Veteran Entrepreneurs.  He has been featured in many Whitehouse Media Publications, Wall Street Journal, NPR segments and many, many industry articles over the years. Most recently Mr. Lasser was named “Champion of Change” by President Obama and recognized by the Whitehouse for his Entrepreneurial Leadership.


60 years young, happily married 35 years, two daughters (two Son-in-laws), 3 grandchildren and a pair of golden retriever sisters.
