This class shows students how to keep themselves safe online. We show students how to create strong passwords, avoid online scams and phishing scams, how to avoid infecting their computers with viruses, and how to know whether or not the sites they visit are legitimate and secure.

This course introduces users to what e-learning is and the different types of e-learning. It also covers the major e-learning websites and resources available. As well as the technology required for e-learning.

eGovernment

This course introduces users to e-government, as well as the goals, benefits, and challenges of e-government. It will also cover technologies used in e-government and e-government services available to users in Alabama.

eHealth

This course explains e-health and introduces users to what the goals of e-health are, as well as the benefits and challenges of e-health. Users will also be introduced to Consumer Health Services and the different parts of e-health.

This course introduces users to the basics of e-commerce. It also covers how to expand an existing business through e-commerce.
