Kathy Kyle is a Student Services Coordinator in the Harrison School of Pharmacy. She came to Auburn University in 2001 and has been with the Harrison School of Pharmacy most of her years here, except for a brief eighteen months when she worked for the Office of Continuing and Professional Education coordinating summer camps.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, lifting weights, boating with her husband, and traveling back to Iowa to spend time with family.
In March of this year, while dealing with her mother’s ovarian cancer from afar, Kathy was diagnosed with DCIS – Ductal Carcinoma in Situ. After a lumpectomy and seven weeks of radiation therapy, she is grateful for early detection.
In addition to being involved with multiple medical support groups associated with her job, Kathy has become involved with the PlexHope Relay for Life team and walked in the EAMC Foundation’s Think Pink Walk this year.
