HR Center, a free research service, available to national members,
provides the latest information on HR issue, innovations and trends.
IPMA-HR
Assessment Service provides validated testing materials for a number
of common public sector classifications at a reasonable cost. Membership
in IPMAAC (International Public Management Association Assessment
Council) is available for assessment specialists.
National
members receive a monthly newsletter, "IPMA-HR News" and
"Public Personnel Management", a professional journal
which is published quarterly.
Educational
opportunities are available through regional, national and international
training conferences, as well as, fellowship programs.
The Alabama Association of Public Personnel Administrators is a
non-profit organization whose members work in state, county, municipal
governments, public utilities and regional planning commissions.
Any person working in public sector HR is eligible for membership.
